The Moose are adding right-shot defenceman Dysin Mayo on a two-year deal beginning in the 2026-27 season. The Victoria, B.C., product was selected by the Coyotes in the fifth round of the 2014 NHL Draft.

Mayo appeared in 82 NHL games with Arizona over the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons, recording four goals and eight assists. Most of his professional career has been spent in the AHL with Tucson, Henderson and, most recently, Cleveland, where he had three goals and 26 assists for 29 points in 59 games with the Monsters last season. He did play three games with the Blue Jackets last season.
