Video Description:
TSN Hockey Insider Pierre LeBrun joined Gino Reda to discuss the Sabres shopping the No. 4 pick and potential landing spots for Connor Hellebuyck.
Cole’s Notes:
I don’t think there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that the Florida Panthers could get a deal done without including Anton Lundell. LeBrun mentions the Sabres’ No. 4 overall pick, which would certainly be an enticing asset, but are the Sabres far enough along in their competitive cycle for Hellebuyck to approve a move there?
He also brings up the Carolina Hurricanes, but that’s an organization that has traditionally avoided investing heavily in goaltending. After winning the Stanley Cup, are they really going to change that philosophy now?
