We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg. The Athletic Winnipeg: What we’re hearing about the Jets’ offseason priorities as draft week begins. (Paywall). Murat echoes in his first point something we’ve been saying for some time, which is the Jets need to pick a lane rather than trying to straddle two. He wrote about Hellebuyck, making or trading the 8th overall pick, getting ahead of the next Morrissey & Samberg deals, signing Perfetti & Rosén, and he ends with some summer thoughts about analytics, Arniel in the last year of his deal, Shane Doan and Jonathan Toews.
Global News: Winnipeg Jets’ Plan B if rumoured trades don’t happen. Right now there are more questions than answers as folks try to ascertain which course of action that the organization will take.
