A daily roundup of Jets, Moose coverage — all the pro hockey news that matters in Manitoba and beyond.

Note: The Jets are done. The Moose are done. We will still try to get you anything relevant to the pro hockey clubs of Manitoba during the next little bit. Of course the big focus is on the 2026 NHL Draft for which the Jets hold the 8th overall selection. We will be spending quite a bit of time learning about the players who could hear their name get called by Winnipeg at the end of June.

Winnipeg Sun: Hurricanes winger Nikolaj Ehlers comfortable in Carolina after decade with Jets. The Dynamic Dane had two big goals for Carolina last night including the OT GWG to even the Conference Finals with Montreal.

Illegal Curve Hockey Show: Saturday Podcast. Two hours of hockey talk covering all the latest with the Winnipeg Jets news including next month’s draft and a look at Cole Perfetti’s next contract. We also looked at how Jets players were doing at the World Championship. We touched on the latest doing with the Moose with Tyrel Bauer winning the Yanick Dupré Memorial Award as AHL Man of the Year as well as Samuel Fagemo heading over to the SHL. And we looked at what’s happening in the NHL Playoffs. We were joined by Jets reporter Jamie Thomas and then in the second hour of the show by TSN’s Craig Button to talk about the NHL Draft.
