News from the Blogs;
- Iceman: How you gonna keep Kane down on the farm? You can’t. I think he has shown that he has what it takes to play in the NHL.
- The Hockey News: Canadian Prime Minister Harper attends commemorative Habs stamp unveiling. What he won’t do to get votes in Quebec. (kidding). The Prime Minister is a very big hockey fan.
- Maple Leafs Hot Stove: What ails them and hope. Have to agree with his assessment, it is still too early to panic, especially given that this isn’t a one year re-build.
- Fire Wagon Hockey: The B’s took out Big D and look to be back. Like the strong play of Thomas.
- The Willful Caboose: Cautiously optimistic. It sure looks like Tyler Myers is going to be bringing excitment to fans in Buffalo for many years.
- NYI Point Blank: No skate…Skelos supports…is tonight the night? Lots doing on Long Island and while I don’t think they will be getting their first win tonight, I do think its good news that the Lighthouse Project is getting some key political support.
- CBC: Is Mark Messier behind Rangers’ early success? While I think a lot has to do with coach Tortorella getting the most out of them, it probably can’t hurt to have someone like Messier around to help out when needed.
- Snapshots: Chelios remains the Wings NHLPA rep. Interesting show of respect from the Wings to keep him in the loop.
- Behind the Net: The new Anaheim Ducks without defence. Another quality post.
- Lowetide: Quality farm products. Lots of good players down on the farm.
- L.A. Kings Insider: Mirror image? It is true that they both have developed similar, if only J. Quick could turn into S. Mason.
- Working the Corners: Vesce up, Zalewski down — plus the joy of getting to Nassau Coliseum. Expect the Sharks to continue to roll tonight.
- Tom Benjamin’s NHL Blog: The numbers and Pat Quinn. Hard to argue with that.
- Canucks Hockey Blog: The missing twin. Who is going to fill that supporting role?
- T.O. Sports: Top 10 things wrong with the NHL. Number six is a tough one as I loved the Canada Cup but do appreciate the Olympics as well.
