Note: The Jets hit the ice for practice on Saturday but were missing one key piece as Brenden Dillon did not take part although head coach Rick Bowness in his media scrum afterwards saying it would be “day-to-day” as the team doctors stitched up the gash he suffered at the end of game three. Note II: We want you to be part of the discussion after the final buzzer between Winnipeg and Colorado on the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show.

Jets news:

Winnipeg Sun: Jets sticking with Hellebuyck; Jonsson-Fjallby called upon for speed, tenacity. No real surprise for a few reasons. Number 37 isn’t the problem. He’s been good enough at 5 on 5. Special teams this team has stunk. Additionally they signed him to a seven-year extension and Laurent Brossoit is more than likely going to be wearing a new uniform next season as he looks for a starters job. You live and die with the guy who is going to win his second Vezina this year and be around for the long-term.

Winnipeg Sun: ‘Sigh of relief:’ Jets defenceman Dillon day-to-day after suffering nasty gash against Avalanche. The team dodged a bullet although it still isn’t clear how soon he may be ready to play for this team again. We will have to see if his characteristic number five uniform is on the ice (which would be a big surprise) for warm-up skate.

Winnipeg Sun: Morrissey bringing it even as Jets struggle to defend Avalanche. He’s been sensational as he tries to singlehandedly will his team to victory each game.

Winnipeg Free Press: Dillon escapes major injury. (Paywall). They got lucky but it’s still not clear if he’s gonna be an option.

Sportsnet: With or without Dillon, Jets must find best selves in Game 4. The only way the Jets have a chance to come up with a victory in this series is if they show up in game four in Colorado.

Sportsnet: What changes do Jets need to make to find success in Game 4? Sean Reynolds and Eric Engels discuss changes the Winnipeg Jets need to make to find success against the Colorado Avalanche in Game 4 of their first-round series and who may need to step up if defenceman Brenden Dillon can’t suit up.

NHL Network: Connor Hellebuyck and Laurent Brossoit talk William M Jennings Trophy. Connor Hellebuyck won the 2023-24 William M. Jennings Trophy for allowing the fewest goals with Laurent Brossoit also contributing. The Winnipeg Jets goalie tandem spoke with Jason Demers about their season.
