Notable:

Adam Lowry started the game for the Jets in Dallas in his 700th game in the NHL. Quite a run from being a 2011 3rd rounder to captain of an NHL team.

Hockey is a funny game. Stars almost open the scoring off this play and then seconds later Jets score.

They haven’t all looked like this but the Jets first rounder from 2014 has now scored 200 goals since Winnipeg called out the name Nikolaj Ehlers as the 9th overall pick.

After missing the last five as a healthy scratch and on his 24th birthday David Gustafsson scored his third goal of the season to give Winnipeg a 2-0 lead.

And then Mark Scheifele with the dagger empty netter to make it a 3-0 game.

Laurent Brossoit picked up his third shutout of the season.

For just the second time in 13 years the Jets have hit 49 wins in a season (although worth noting three of those seasons were reduced games because of the lockout and pandemic x 2).
