Note: The Jets were off on Sunday after a 4-2 win over the Wild in St. Paul on Saturday. Today they are expected to practice before they take off for Nashville where they will face the Predators on Tuesday night to resume their four game road trip. Stay tuned for the Practice Report.

Note II: The Moose picked up two wins this weekend including yesterday’s thriller which saw them score with under a minute to go in the 3rd to tie the game and then win it on overtime when Ville Heinola went to town with this game-winning goal to secure a 3-2 victory. They also gained Jets 2023 1st rounder Colby Barlow who was assigned by the NHL club to their AHL affiliate now that his OHL season is done. He didn’t play in the game but he’ll get some important development time with Manitoba for however long they run in the playoffs. They are off the next two days as they get some much needed R&R.

Winnipeg Free Press: Revived Jets facing tough tests. (Paywall). You wanna be the best then you gotta beat the best. With games against Nashville, Dallas and Colorado upcoming this week they’ll have plenty of time to get ready for the big challenges.
