The Jets handedly defeat the Ducks 6-0 and slip into a three-way tie with the Stars and Avs for 1st in the Central.

Pre-game news:

The big news of the day happened before puck drop as head coach Rick Bowness advised that Gabriel Vilardi is dealing with an enlarged spleen and that there was no timeline for his return. The team also announced that they had swung a minor league trade sending Wyatt Bongiovanni to the Senators organization for future considerations.

It was all Jets in the opening period as they skated out to an 8-1 shot edge.

Beauty tip by Kyle Connor for his 28th of the season gave Winnipeg a 1-0 lead.

Nate Schmidt loves facing off against the Ducks. He got his second of the season this evening with his other goal also coming against Anaheim.

Dylan DeMelo first goal since Oct 14th makes it a 3-0 game for the Jets. His first goal in 64 games.

Tyler Toffoli got his first as a member of the Jets and Winnipeg had a 4-0 lead.
