The Moose left Manitoba, feels like months ago, to begin nine straight games on the road. The first seven games were against Central division opponents which was good for Manitoba as they needed to make up ground after an 11 game losing streak (0-10-1). The road trip began with five was paused due to the AHL All-Star break, resumed in Grand Rapids last weekend for two games and then concluded with back-to-back games in Calgary against the Wranglers.

Notable:
The only blemish against the Moose was a power play goal they gave up in the first period.
Recently reassigned Dominic Toninato created the game tying goal in the 3rd period with this nice effort. It was his third goal of the season.
The shootout was impressive as a pair of Jets prospects scored for Manitoba on their first two attempts with Nikita Chibrikov and Brad Lambert both scoring nice goals.
Equally important was Collin Delia making two big stops on both Calgary opportunities to give his team a chance for the win. He made 28 saves on 29 shots, only giving up the previously mentioned power play goal in the opening period of play.
With the win Manitoba improved to 6-2-1 during this road trip which allowed them to leap into 5th spot in the Central.
