Notable:

100 game mark in the NHL for Jets draft picks David Gustafsson and Cole Perfetti.

Biggest cheer for most of the opening period went to this guy who chugged a beer during a commercial timeout.

During the 1st period I made this observation: “The Jets fourth line continue*ds to show that they have earned more ice time because they continue to show that they can do a lot of good things for Winnipeg.”

While Nikolaj Ehlers didn’t have a great last game (vs Habs) he’s got 4G 5A in his last four games as he converted a beauty pass by Gabriel Vilardi. He’s up to 11G in 31 games. Last year he had 12G in 45 games.

First goal of the season for Axel Jonsson-Fjallby who was flying which added some insurance for Winnipeg in the middle frame.

Dylan Samberg, who made that crispy pass to AJF on the third Jets goal, is up to 8 assists in 31 games. That matches his points total from last season in 63 games.

Gabriel Vilardi up to 6G 7A in 13 games. Worth noting that Pierre-Luc Dubois is at 5G 7A in 28 games. Obviously it is quite early but that trade looking like it would have been more than fine at 1 for 1.

Make it 21 straight games that the Jets have not allowed more than three goals which is one off the NHL record.

Multipoint Game:

Gabriel Vilardi 1G 2A
Nikolaj Ehlers 1G 1A
Axel Jonsson-Fjallby 1G 1A
