Winnipeg Sun: Morrissey’s quick thinking leaves team in awe. Usually it’s the equipment guy who gets the stick assist but some quick thinking from number 44 resulted in a pivotal goal which turned out to be the game-winning goal.

Winnipeg Sun: Scheifele at his best, Lowry leads the way, Morrissey offers up big assist from bench. Ted gets out his red marker and is handing out player grades following the win.

Winnipeg Sun: Connor, Scheifele help lift Jets past Panthers. That was quite a solid team effort but it was definitely a positive for the Jets to see the big boys came to play.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets hang on for wild win over Panthers. (Paywall). They looked like they were in cruise control after the middle frame and even in the final one but that darn 6 on 5 almost proved to be too much.

Winnipeg Free Press: Morrissey’s big assist from bench. (Paywall). It’s a good thing he got a point on the scoresheet or I could see the team lobbying for him to get a point with his quick thinking on the GWG.

Jets video:

TSN: Button on Scheifele: ‘He is capable of doing so much everywhere on the rink’. TSN’s Hockey analyst Craig Button joins SportsCentre to break down Mark Scheifele’s performance in the Jets win over the Panthers Saturday, and how important he is to the team.
