Game 70: Jets 3 Predators 2 in OT post-game recap

Post-game recap and interviews with Jets players as well as head coach Rick Bowness.

WHO ELSE BUT NEAL PIONK to score the OT winner. Jets improve to 9-2 in OT and more importantly get the win to pick up the two points in Nashville over the Preds as they improve to 39-28-3 on the season. Winnipeg up to 81 points.

Notable:

Adam Lowry tied Dustin Byfuglien in total games played for the Jets/Thrashers organization with game number 609 of his career. He’s third on the Jets 2.0 list and sixth all-time for Jets 2.0/1.0.

Maybe it was appropriate then that Adam Lowry scored just his second goal in his last 42 games but it was a heck of an effort by 17.

69 points in 68 games for Josh Morrissey with 15 goals and 54 assists on the season.

Vladislav Namestnikov with 2G 4A in the eight games since being acquired by the Jets.

The Jets got their 39th win of the season in game 70. Last year they got it in game 82.

For those scoreboard watching Winnipeg now leads Nashville by five points and Calgary by five (although Flames play Stars tonight with one game in hand). Nashville still has three games in hand.

Multi Point Game:

Nikolaj Ehlers 1G 1A
Josh Morrissey 2A
