Notable:

The game began with a contribution from the fourth line courtesy of Axel Jonsson-Fjallby‘s fourth goal of the season.

Kyle Connor up to 24 goals on the season. Remember when he had just two goals in the first 14 games of the season. He has 22 in his last 34 games. He is on pace for over 40 this year.

The pass by Cole Perfetti on the second Jets goal was world class. He moved into sole possession of 2nd spot in NHL rookie scoring and sits eight points back of the Kraken’s Matty Beniers.

The quest for 50 continues for Mark Scheifele who scored his 29th of the season and is on pace to hit that mark for the first time in his career.

It wasn’t a highlight reel goal for Karson Kuhlman but it turned out to be the game-winning goal.

Pierre-Luc Dubois picked up his 30th assist of the season on the Jets empty netter. He became the third Jets player (along with 81 & 44) this season to hit the 50 point mark (20G 30A). He’s on pace for: 34G 51A 85 PTS. All would be new career highs.

Winnipeg picked up their 31st win of the season in game 48 (on January 22nd). Last year win 31 came in game 66 (on March 25th). They, along with the Bruins, are the only teams to get to the 30 win mark so far this season.
