Game 31: Jets vs Kraken pre-game report

A look at the projected lineups and pre-game interviews.

The Jets cruised to a 5-1 win last night in Vancouver in a game that wasn’t overly taxing for them. The only real question marks might be who the team goes with in net and if they insert Ville Heinola or Michael Eyssimont in. Might they give Connor Hellebuyck another game after he faced just 23 Canucks shots and then get David Rittich into the back-to-back to end the pre-Christmas portion of the season?

Morning skate news:

No skate.

Warm-up skate:

No changes to the lineup for the Jets aside from David Rittich in for Connor Hellebuyck.

Jets projected lines & D pairs:

Perfetti – Scheifele – Kuhlman
Connor – Dubois – Gagner
Barron – Lowry – Harkins
Gustafsson – Stenlund – Jonsson Fjallby

Morrissey-DeMelo
Dillon-Pionk
Capobianco-Samberg

Rittich
Hellebuyck

Betway Odds:

Despite the fact that the Kraken have lost two straight and are 5-5-0 in their last ten games the oddsmakers favour the home team over a Jets club that are 7-3-0 in their last ten. Seattle are a rather pedestrian 7-6-2 at Climate Pledge Arena while Winnipeg have won five straight games on the road sitting 9-4-1 away from Friendly Manitoba. Be sure to check out the latest game day odds from Betway.

Coach media availability:

Uncertain time when coach is set to speak.
