Note: The Jets held an optional on Monday as they prepared for the upcoming four-game homestand which begins tonight against the Habs.  Morning skate is at 10:30 AM CT so check out the pre-game report to get the full 411 ahead of the game. Note II: The Moose took Monday off after splitting their weekend series with the Wolves. They did get some reinforcements from the Jets yesterday and they will hit the ice for a practice today as they prepare for a pair of games with the IceHogs which starts on Thursday.

Winnipeg Free Press: Jets must roar like lions in March. (Paywall). There are 10 games in March before the NHL trade deadline (the 21st) which should provide plenty of insight as to how the team will behave in three weeks time.

Sportsnet: Jets to perform Ukrainian anthem before game vs. Canadiens. I wondered on twitter yesterday whether this was the first time at an NHL game in North America that an anthem other than the Canadian and American anthems.

TSN: Jets’ Copp aiming for Tuesday return to the lineup. After sustaining a hit from Jordan Greenway back on February 16th, Andrew Copp has been out of the lineup with a head injury. Since then, Copp visited with concussion specialists, and says he is feeling better with hopes of making a return Tuesday against the Canadians. 

Sportsnet: Beaulieu, Copp believe in Jets’ playoff chances, focused on collecting points. Jets defenceman Nathan Beaulieu and forward Andrew Copp discuss the team’s current playoff prospects, saying they aren’t worried about what other teams are doing, and are focused on collecting points.

Sportsnet: Copp discusses ever-evolving concussion treatment, brain exercises. Jets forward Andrew Copp comments on his previous concussion treatment and the use of brain exercises, he believes he was treated by “one of the best in the world” and he currently feels good, strong, and very clear.
