The Jets are set to have another day of practice as this unusual season rolls along with long stretches in games due to the fact that Winnipeg has had nine games postponed so far. The team skated on Saturday although they did so with Paul Stastny and Logan Stanley who are dealing with lower-body injuries and are considered day-to-day according to interim head coach Dave Lowry.

Prior to skate getting started the team announced six moves made between the Jets and Moose to the taxi squad. From Winnipeg they sent Cole Perfetti, CJ Suess and Kristian Reichel and from the Moose they recalled Dylan Samberg, Ville Heinola and Mikhail Berdin.
Both Heinola and Samberg were in Texas last night playing for Manitoba so they are unlikely to be back in Winnipeg just yet. Berdin is an unusual case since he came off the covid protocol list last Sunday but hasn’t been available to play for the Moose.
Has the potential to not really impact the Moose as they do not play again until Wednesday. Of course if this lasts longer than that and with both Leon Gawanke and Declan Chisholm in covid protocol it could stretch the Manitoba D a bit thin.

Interim head coach Dave Lowry says Paul Stastny and Logan Stanley remain day-to-day. Says they are hopeful they could play against the Wings on Thursday. But said if they aren’t then they’ll adjust.
He was also asked if he expects Jansen Harkins and Dylan DeMelo would be available for them on Thursday. Said first they have to get out of protocol. Then it becomes a function of what they’ve been able to do during quarantine.
