Note:  The Jets concluded their five-game road trip last night in Toronto with a big 5-2 win over the Leafs. The team is off today ahead of six games in Winnipeg starting tomorrow night against the Oilers.

Note II: Another day of practice for the Moose as they get set to welcome the Heat to town next Thursday.

Note III: On Thursday we learned that Jets 2019 4th rounder Henri Nikkanen was switching Finnish clubs as he had signed a two-year deal with the Pelicans.

Note IV: A reminder that you can watch ‘Live with Kenny and Renny’ featuring Sean Reynolds and Ken Wiebe of Sportsnet which starts at 9 AM and which will be available on their YouTube channel.’

Note V: Hockey insider Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet is reporting progress made in extension talks between the Winnipeg Jets and Adam Lowry. Darren Dreger of TSN confirmed it was a five year deal with an AAV of 3.25 million.

TSN: Winnipeg’s stars were the difference in this game. The Jets’ top end talent outshined a Leafs team missing some their star power, as Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele and Nikolaj Ehlers combined for all five of Winnipeg’s goals in its win over Toronto. The TSN Hockey panel weighed in on how the Jets’ top players dominated the game, the Maple Leafs power play struggles, and the disastrous start by Jack Campbell in the game.
