The Athletic Winnipeg: Why a Patrik Laine trade is an especially bad idea for the Jets right now.  (Paywall).  Trading a generational player who hasn’t even begun to scratch the surface seems like a mistake (says captain Obvious).  Murat provides context on why Winnipeg would be making a bad move to trade the talented winger.

NBC Sports: What’s next for Patrik Laine and the Jets? I think the last line of the article hits it on the head “It is not more beneficial for the Jets. Not today. Not tomorrow.”. I personally don’t see how Winnipeg comes out ahead of this deal.
