Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Your source for all the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news and audio.

Note: The Jets are in Ottawa to take on the Senators this afternoon in the second of this three game road trip out east.  Yesterday they held an optional practice and while we know that Laurent Brossoit will get the start in net, Coach Maurice wasn’t ready to confirm that Josh Morrissey will be in the lineup.  Be sure to check back for the pre-game report at 10:30 am for any updates.  Puck drop is at 1 pm CT.

Note II:  The Moose will also be in action today as they look to keep the good times at home rolling.  The previous six-game homestand was a big success (5-0-0-1) and they will kick off another six straight games at Bell MTS Place when they face Texas at 6 pm this evening.  The Stars currently sit six points ahead of Manitoba in the standings so there is a lot riding on this weekend series.

Note III:  Tune in for three hours of Winnipeg Jets and NHL hockey talk on TSN 1290 Winnipeg starting at 7 am.  You can listen here.
