Game 55: Jets vs. Senators pre-game report

A look at the game 55 projected lineup along with pre-game audio.

Jets at Sens

The Jets are looking to erase the memory of that stinging 5-2 defeat at the hands of the Habs on Thursday night as they take on a Senators team that sits at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings.  Ottawa is 4-6-0 in their last ten games.

The only question mark is Josh Morrissey who is expected to return although neither he nor Coach Maurice would confirm on Friday after the Jets practiced.  If Morrissey does return he will slide in beside Jacob Trouba and Joe Morrow likely becomes your seventh Dman.

Health News:

Coach Maurice confirmed to Paul Edmonds of TSN 1290 Winnipeg that Dmitry Kulikov comes out of the Jets lineup as the veteran D man is dealing with an “upper-body injury, day-to-day.”  He also indicated that Josh Morrissey is back in the lineup. Morrow is expected to play with Myers on the third pairing.
