Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets had a big 3-0 win over central division rival Colorado last night at Bell MTS Place as Connor Hellebuyck put up his fifth shutout of the season and helped the Jets improve their home record to an impressive 19-3-2.  Overall the team is 31-13-9 and sit just one point back of Vegas for top spot in the Western Conference.  They have the day off today before they get back to it on Monday as they prepare to face the Coyotes on Tuesday night.

Note II:  It wasn’t just the Jets who picked up their 31st win on the season as the Moose rolled over the Admirals in Milwaukee by a score of 5-1 last night.  This gives them five straight wins on this nine game road trip, they are now 19-4-1 in 24 road games this season and have points in thirteen straight on the road (12-0-1).  Overall the team sits 31-10-3-2 and are comfortably in first in the Western Conference.  The team has today off and will be back on the ice on Monday to prepare for a re-match with the Admirals.
