Jimmy Lodge has been reassigned to the Manitoba Moose

Jimmy Lodge is back in the fold.

With Jack Roslovic up in the NHL with the Jets and Jansen Harkins down with the Icemen of the ECHL the Moose are a tad light when it comes to forwards.  Francis Bouvillier is the lone extra forward and he left practice on Wednesday at Bell MTS IcePlex early and we never received an update on his status.

In last night’s 4-3 OT loss JC Lipon left the game and we don’t yet know if he will play tonight.  To bolster the lineup the Moose have Jimmy Lodge, the Jets 2013 3rd rounder, back in the fold.  He has played the entire season to date (30 games) with the Icemen of the ECHL and leads the team in scoring with 10 goals and 18 assists.  Last season Lodge had eight goals and 10 assists for the Moose in 63 games.

Also of note Jansen Harkins, who was sent down to the Icemen last week to get some more time on ice, has two goals and two assists in his first couple of games.
