Game 20: Jets vs. Predators pre-game report

A look at the game 20 projected lineups and pre-game audio.

The Jets ended a successful three-game home stand (3-0) and are now in Nashville to take on the Predators tonight in the first of four on the road.  Puck drop is at 7 pm at Bridgestone Arena.

Morning skate notes:

Via Brian Munz of TSN 1290 Winnipeg we get the Predators lineup.  He also indicated that the Jets held an optional.  Below are the lines the Jets used against the Devils on Saturday.  The big questions are: Who plays with Dustin Byfuglien and who starts in net?  We will likely learn this when coach speaks following skate.

Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun indicated that Ben Chiarot replaces Enstrom in the lineup.  He also indicated that Hellebuyck gets the start.

Coach Maurice scrum topics:  On what Ben Chiarot need to do in his return to the roster.  Managing his minutes.  What gave Chiarot the ‘leg up’ over Poolman?  What has impressed him about Chiarot during the past month when he hasn’t played a game?  On the message sent with the Gudas 10 game suspension.  On the changes to the Predators with addition of Turris.  On P.K. Subban’s comfort in year 2.  On the ability to move Mathieu Perreault anywhere in the lineup.  Play of Joel Armia.
