Winnipeg Jets Morning Papers

Latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news.

Note:  The Jets came back from a two goal deficit to beat the Flyers 3-2 in a shootout last night.   The team is scheduled to practice today at 12 noon at Bell MTS Place as they prepare for an afternoon contest against the Devils on Saturday to wrap up this three game homestand.  The team sits in 2nd place in the Western Conference with less than a week to go before U.S. Thanksgiving (usually seen as a barometer of teams who will make the playoffs).  Update:  NHL Player Safety has offered Radko Gudas an in-person hearing after his slash on Mathieu Perreault in the 1st period of last night’s game.

Note II:  The Moose have won five of their last six games including a 3-2 victory over these Wolves on Wednesday to kick off their four games back at Bell MTS Place.  Manitoba will look to continue to add more points into the standings bank and maintain their 1st place in the Central Division spot.  Tonight is a the first specialty jersey of the season as it is their Law Enforcement appreciation night.
