Note: Today is the deadline for NHL teams to request that a player “waive” his “No Move” clause for purposes of the upcoming Expansion Draft (4 p.m. CT). Of course for the Jets that request would be made of Tobias Enstrom who if he does agree to waive his NMC would allow Winnipeg to keep more players without having to make a deal with Vegas. Of course if he doesn’t waive then the option for the Jets may be to trade something to protect an asset.

Host of the IC Hockey Show Drew Mindell mentioned on Saturday’s show that the Jets wouldn’t be disclosing whether the team would be asking Enstrom to waive his no movement clause.
