The third goal by Winnipeg might have been the funniest goal celebration I’ve seen from the Jets. I don’t think they knew who scored that goal. It was Josh Morrissey and Winnipeg had a 3-1 lead.
Logan Stanley had quite the grin as Trent Frederic waved the white flag. I missed 64 saluting the crowd with his helmet as he went to the room.
The middle frame saw McDavid do his thing late to bring his team within one. The visitors outshot the home team 12-3 during the 2nd.
The Oilers continued to pressure in the final frame scoring two more goals and outshooting the Jets 10-0 at one point which ended at 11-2.
