The captain ends double OT. Winnipeg is going insane as they advance to the second round.

Notable:
Gabriel Vilardi paid homage to teammate Mark Scheifele and stays on to be the last guy on the ice.
First ever NHL game 7 in Winnipeg you say…. This Jets crowd was amped up. Wow.
As starts go that was less than ideal with Winnipeg giving up the opening goal of the game just 1:10 into the opening frame.
Sundqvist caught Josh Morrissey with what looked like a shot to the head. 44 was slow to get back to the bench. Then on his next shift he hit Joseph and after that he would head down the tunnel and not return.
Six minutes after giving up the opening goal the Blues Matthieu Joseph scored this Brayden Schenn esque goal to quiet the home crowd. That goal cannot go in.
Vlad Namestnikov with two chances in the middle frame to score but both times (here & here) he puts it wide.
Winnipeg got the first power play of the game and before they had finished announcing the penalty the Jets scored with Cole Perfetti beautifully deflecting a Kyle Connor pass to cut the deficit in half.
Jets had most of the momentum this period and then this happened in the final minute of the middle frame to make it a 3-1 lead for the visitors. Dear Mama.
Adam Lowry this close to bringing his team within one. But looks like Neighbours wasn’t having it and may have blocked it.
But this Jets team didn’t win the President’s Trophy to go out meekly in the first round. So first Vlad Namestnikov got them back within one with 1:55 left in the 3rd.
After Cole Perfetti thought he tied the game but it was ruled no goal. But he wouldn’t be denied and he tied the game with 1.7 seconds to go to send it to OT. Most insane thing I’d seen live (until the GWG).
The captain Adam Lowry ends the game late in double OT. Craziest thing ever. Jets advance to second round to face the Stars.
Fans celebrate as the Jets and Blues shake hands. Craziest sporting event I’ve ever witnessed. Insane.
Neal Pionk played over 46 minutes. Wild.
Multi Point Game:
Neal Pionk 3A
Kyle Connor 3A
Cole Perfetti 2G
