Winnipeg Jets Injury Updates: Josh Morrissey, Nathan Beaulieu and Laurent Brossoit

The Jets pulled off an improbable 4-3 victory over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night in a game which saw them lose Josh Morrissey and Nathan Beaulieu in the second period. Morrissey was hit in the back of the leg on a dump-in attempt while Nathan Beaulieu blocked a shot with his hand/wrist.  Laurent Brossoit pulled himself in the 3rd period although at the time it wasn’t readily apparent as to why he left the game.

Coach Paul Maurice in his post game comments indicated:

“Josh should be fine.  Nathan we’ll see. He’s gonna have to get some tests done and Laurent was just cramps.  Came back out with two minutes left to go, was ready to go back in, its just difficult to do at that point in the game.”

The Jets are off today and may not skate tomorrow due to the fact that it is their Skills Competition at night so we may not have an update until Tuesday.
