The Jets suffered their first defeat in April last night. That includes eight wins to conclude the regular season and the ninth victory in game one of this series on Sunday. So their first loss comes 23 days into the month but given that it was game 2 of their best of seven series with the Avs and also given how Colorado swarmed them in the 2nd and 3rd periods it has folks understandably upset with the series now tied 1-1 and heading to the Centennial State for games 3 and 4.
There was a practice scheduled for today but the team chose instead to hold a quick airport media availability and then head to Denver. This will give them a day to practice and get acclimatized to the altitude.
