Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Toninato, Gawanke reassigned to Moose

With the Jets not playing today the team made a pair of moves according to JetsPR reassigning Dominic Toninato and Leon Gawanke to the Moose.

Gawanke was dealing with an injury according to Moose head coach Pascal Vincent as the prospect defender didn’t finish the Manitoba game on Saturday. He told me on Monday he wasn’t certain if it was day-to-day or maybe a week as the injury was still being evaluated.

Toninato played two games for the Moose to start this series against the Heat which were his first games since the playoff bubble.  He had two goals on Saturday in a 3-0 Manitoba win.

The Jets are scheduled to practice today at 12 noon while the Moose play tonight at 6 pm.

Jets taxi squad: CJ Suess, Luke Green, Mikhail Berdin.
