Winnipeg Jets Transaction Report: Eric Comrie and Ville Heinola reassigned from Moose to taxi squad

The Jets are about to head out on the road after tonight’s game against Montreal for seven straight contests out west.  They’ve added some required insurance in goalie Eric Comrie (goalie for taxi squad) and defenceman Ville Heinola.

Heinola has played 16 games for the Jets AHL affiliate posting four goals and six assists.  He has looked very good with the Moose since being reassigned by the Jets whether it was scoring a game-winning goal, keeping plays alive or simply QBing the power play.

Comrie got into one game with the Moose after being reclaimed by Wpg, picked up his 84th victory, which tied him with Cory Schneider on the Manitoba all-time wins list for goalies & with Forsberg claimed by Ott, will slide into third goalie role for Jets.

Taxi squad: Joona Luoto, Nelson Nogier, Dominic Toninato, Eric Comrie and Ville Heinola
