Winnipeg Jets Toby Enstrom has returned home to Sweden (family situation)

Ken Wiebe of the Winnipeg Sun reported that Tobias Enstrom wasn’t on the ice for today’s Jets practice in Nashville.  Originally the thought was that it may be a maintenance day (although he had just taken one on Tuesday).

Following the skate coach Maurice was asked about Enstrom’s status indicated that “Toby had to get home to Sweden for a family situation that’s come up.”  The bench boss added that “he has the full support of the Winnipeg Jets organization.”

As to when he may return that is less clear “we are hopeful that he comes back and it’s a positive result and we will get him back real soon.  But I don’t know when he will return.”.
