The Jets didn’t hold a morning skate but clearly Kyle Connor is feeling healthy again as he has been activated by the Jets off the injured reserve. He has been there since a Kyle Clifford hit into the boards when the Kings were visiting Winnipeg back on November 13th. The rookie has missed the last five games. Still no word if he will be back in action tonight against the Predators.
With Connor healthy the Jets have returned Chase De Leo to the Manitoba Moose who are leaving Winnipeg today on a three game road trip. De Leo didn’t get into any NHL action with the Jets although coach Maurice spoke the other day about the value to be gained for a prospect when they are up with the parent club. Must feel like a never ending road trip for De Leo who was on one with Manitoba starting November 10th. He was called up by Winnipeg on the 14th and then left with the team on the 16th for this ten day trip with the Jets and now the Moose are off to Wisconsin/Illinois until the 30th.
