Winnipeg Jets slide hits four straight losses as St. Louis Blues take it 4-1

Recap of the game.

The Jets slide continues as they’ve now lost four straight games, five of their last six and they are 3-7-0 in their last ten games after losing to the Blues this evening in their only home game between November 12th and December 7th (13 games).

Notable:

Not to say it was gonna be an indicator of what we saw in the game but Jets morning skate was very quiet, seemed low energy.

Been noticing Dylan DeMelo has been aggressively pinching in the O-Zone but it doesn’t seem to be working. That began the sequence which led to the first Blues goal which was followed 39 seconds later by a second St. Louis goal to make it a 2-0 game.

The middle frame was abysmal for Winnipeg as they got outshot 19-3. I had to check that twice to ensure it was accurate.

Jordan Kyrou got his second of the game to make it 3-0 which basically sealed this one with just under 14 minutes left in the 3rd.

With 5:01 left in the 3rd the Jets pulled the goalie for a 6 on 5 advantage and they finally broke the shutout bid of Winnipegger Joel Hofer as Mark Scheifele got his 13th of the season.

Oddly with it being a 4-1 final score it was the 7th time the Jets have been involved in a game that ends with that score in their last 12 games (Nov 9th to Dec 3rd).

Multipoint Game:

None.
