Winnipeg Jets sign RFA JC Lipon to a one-year, two-way deal

One more RFA down as the Jets and JC Lipon have come to terms.  Of course this leaves just one RFA left for GM Kevin Cheveldayoff to ink as all eyes remain on Jacob Trouba.

Jets Release:

The Winnipeg Jets announced they have agreed to terms with forward JC Lipon on a one-year, two-way contract worth an average annual value of $650,000 in the NHL.

Lipon, 23, had one assist in nine games with the Jets last season. While with the Manitoba Moose, he tallied 30 points (13G, 17A) in 45 games. Lipon has played three professional seasons after being drafted by the Jets in the third round, 91st overall in 2013. Over his AHL career, the native of Regina, Sask., has 97 points (27G, 70A) in 192 games.
