Winnipeg Jets sign forward Michael Sgarbossa to a one year deal

Darren Dreger of TSN announced that the Jets has signed Michael Sgarbossa and some fans in Winnipeg were left wondering who?  Here is the 411 on the forward from Campbellville, Ontario:

He is a left shooting centre who has played stints in the NHL since he broke in with the Colorado Avalanche in 2012-2013.  He was most recently in the Panthers organization playing 29 games for Florida last season (2 goals 5 assists) after he began 2016-17 playing nine games with the Anaheim Ducks.  He also played 16 games last season in the AHL between the San Diego Gulls and the Springfield Thunderbirds.

The Jets have confirmed it is a one-year, one way-deal with an average annual value of $650,000.
