Winnipeg Jets sign Brandon Tanev to a one-year contract

In the wake of the Jacob Trouba award from the arbitrator this afternoon the Jets announced this evening that they have signed forward Brandon Tanev to a one-year deal worth $1.15 million.  Tanev was scheduled to have his arbitration hearing in Toronto on Wednesday, July 25th.

In 61 regular season games for Winnipeg last season Tanev had eight goals and 10 assists.  He added four goals and two assists in 17 playoff games.
