Winnipeg Jets set training camp groups

We learned who would be at Jets training camp on Friday and today we see how the two skating groups have been broken up in advance of hitting the ice on Monday.

According to the Jets the two groups will be comprised as follows:

Group 1

Goalies: Laurent Brossoit and Connor Hellebuyck.

Defencemen: Nathan Beaulieu, Dylan DeMelo, Derek Forbort, Josh Morrissey, Sami Niku, Neal Pionk, Tucker Poolman and Luca Sbisa.

Forwards:  Mason Appleton, Kyle Connor, Andrew Copp, Nikolaj Ehlers, Jansen Harkins, Patrik Laine, Adam Lowry, Joona Luoto, Mathieu Perreault, Mark Scheifele, Paul Stastny, CJ Suess, Nate Thompson, Kristian Vesalainen and Blake Wheeler.

Group 2

Goalies: Eric Comrie and Cole Kehler

Defencemen:  Jimmy Oligny, Declan Chisholm, Luke Green, Dylan Samberg, Nelson Nogier, Logan Stanley and Johnathan Kovacevic.

Forwards: Skyler McKenzie and Kristian Reichel.

Unfit to practice:

David Gustafsson (latest here), Trevor Lewis, Mikhail Berdin and Dominic Toninato.

Missing:

Marko Dano who is injured (news here). Also Jack Roslovic, who is back home in Ohio as he and the Jets have not agreed upon a new contract (also he requested a trade).
