This is the first year for a decentralized NHL Draft which means that teams management will be staying in their respective cities and not all congregating in one place as has been the norm for some time. It’s rather unfortunate as it is quite something when the entire hockey world is all gathered in one place.
This year it will be held in Los Angeles at the Peacock Theater on June 27th (1st round) starting at 6 PM CDT and June 28th (rounds 2-7) at 11 AM CDT. Of course ensure you’re keeping it locked to this website as we will have extensive coverage both here and on our YouTube page.
With the Jets exit in the second round to the Stars their spot in the Draft order has been set as 28th overall.
While the focus on who the Jets might select in around one month’s time will receive a lot more attention soon enough, here are some players that the Draft experts have in the 25-30 range (courtesy of Elite Prospects).
