Winnipeg Jets Rick Bowness provides health updates on Appleton, Dubois and Gustafsson

Today at Jets practice will all eyes looking for new number 62 Nino Niederreiter one player that was missing was number 22 Mason Appleton from the skate today in Winnipeg.

He was the only missing player until Pierre-Luc Dubois ended up leaving practice early.

When Winnipeg head coach Rick Bowness was asked about the pair in his media availability he indicated that Mason Appleton is dealing with an upper-body injury and is considered “very doubtful” for tomorrow’s game against the Kings. He played 15:17 in the game on Sunday against the Islanders including the final 58 seconds of the hockey game against the Islanders.

The bench boss added that Pierre-Luc Dubois has a nagging lower-body injury and will be game-time decision tomorrow.

Lastly for David Gustafsson, who is back practicing in a normal uniform, he expects to give him a few more hard skates over the next few days and said he believes he should be ready for the weekend.
