Winnipeg Jets recall Mikey Eyssimont from the Moose on an emergency basis

The Jets announced that they have recalled Mikey Eyssimont from the Moose this morning on an emergency basis. The team lost Mark Scheifele last night in the 2nd period of the game against the Senators and it sounds like they don’t expect Blake Wheeler to be a player this evening in Montreal.

Eyssimont is having a very good season with Manitoba having produced 15 goals and 20 assists for 35 points in 53 games. He is an abrasive forward who has a nose for the net.

The Colorado product could be making his NHL debut tonight in Montreal.
