With Drew Stafford on the shelf the Jets made a recall from the Manitoba Moose and Marko Dano got the call.  The Jets have also placed Bryan Little on injured reserve.

Turns out my gut feeling following yesterday’s practice was right:

Jets Release:

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced today they have recalled forward Marko Dano from the Moose. Bryan Little has been placed on retro-active injured reserve to Oct. 13 with a lower-body injury.

Dano, 21, has played six games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording two points (0G, 2A) and four penalty minutes. The Jets acquired Dano from the Chicago Blackhawks on Feb. 26, 2016 along with a first-round draft pick (Logan Stanley) in exchange for Andrew Ladd. Last season Dano had eight points (4G, 4A) in 21 games with Winnipeg after registering two points (1G, 1A) in 13 games with Chicago and 23 points (4G, 19A) with the Blackhawks’ AHL affiliate in Rockford.

Over his NHL career, the native of Trencin, Slovakia, has 31 points (13G, 18A) in 69 games.
