Winnipeg Jets recall Logan Shaw from the Manitoba Moose

I figured it would be Joona Luoto or Andrei Chibisov based on their ability to not have to clear waivers (and both have played well for the Moose) but today the Jets have recalled Logan Shaw to replace Mason Appleton, who is on IR after he broke a bone in his foot ahead of the Heritage Classic.

In eight games for the Moose, Shaw leads the team in scoring with three goals and two assists.

It has been over 18 months since Logan Shaw’s last NHL game (April 7th, 2018). His Jets debut would come against the Ducks which is somewhat ironic considering the Jets signed him to an NHL contract last season when he was playing for San Diego, the Ducks AHL affiliate.
