Winnipeg Jets recall Kristian Vesalainen from Moose; reassign Mikhail Berdin

The Jets received good news today with the return of Connor Hellebuyck to practice (check out the Practice Report here) after he was sick last week. With the return of Hellebuyck, the team has assigned Mikhail Berdin to the Moose.  Berdin didn’t get into any game action during his time with the Jets but he did get the experience of being in the NHL as he backed up Eric Comrie.

With the assignment of Berdin, the Jets also recalled 2017 1st round draft pick Kristian Vesalainen, who scored once in the three games he played for the Moose this past weekend.

I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
