Winnipeg Jets recall Kevin Stenlund from the Manitoba Moose

Quite the journey for Kevin Stenlund who has been recalled from the Moose by the Jets a day after being reassigned to the AHL club. He was an emergency recall on Sunday with Winnipeg having some injury concerns amongst their 12 “healthy” forwards. However, with the game over on Monday he was required by the CBA to be returned “promptly” to their AHL club.

Of course with the Jets back in action tonight against the Golden Knights the team announced that they have recalled him back up to the big club.

He has 71 career NHL games under his belt.

Working hard on a daily basis to provide the latest Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose news for our readers and listeners. I also appear on the Illegal Curve Hockey Show every Saturday on our YouTube channel as well as the Illegal Curve Post-Game Show after every single Jets game. And I occasionally jump in the play-by-play booth at Canada Life to provide colour analysis during Manitoba Moose games.
