Winnipeg Jets recall Isaak Phillips ahead of four game road trip

Defenceman Isaak Phillips played his first couple of games in a Jets jersey last week before being send back to the AHL club of Manitoba ahead of this past weekend.

He went down and helped the Moose earn a split with the league leading Griffins. Of note he played on his right side in Sunday’s win for the first time this season.

This morning he was listed back on the Jets roster which means he’ll be heading out on the road for the four game trip with Winnipeg.

The Jets skate before leaving for New Jersey so perhaps we’ll get an update on the trio of injured defencemen in Colin Miller, Haydn Fleury and Neal Pionk. Check back for the Practice Report.
