Winnipeg Jets recall Danny Zhilkin from the Moose

With Haydn Fleury injured the Jets have some roster room and they have recalled Danny Zhilkin to the NHL for the first time in the 2022 3rd rounder’s career.

Zhilkin had seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 30 games for the Moose. Manitoba bench boss Mark Morrisson told me back in November that he’s solidified himself as a number one centre in the AHL.

On December 1st I was thinking he would have been a good choice for recall.

Great opportunity for the Ontario product.
