Winnipeg Jets recall Chase De Leo

Chase De Leo has been recalled from the Manitoba Moose on an emergency basis by the Winnipeg Jets.  The rookie was in Des Moines, Iowa where the Moose were scheduled to play the Iowa Wild tonight.

The Jets didn’t practice yesterday so there is no word as to who De Leo may be replacing.  We should have a better idea when morning skate happens.

Would be quite the accomplishment for the young prospect to stick with the Jets for remainder of season so he would have a chance to play in California for the first time in an NHL jersey.  He did play earlier this season for the Moose in his in his home state, making it his first time playing there as a professional.
