Winnipeg Jets update to season ticket holder re: capacity reduction

Season ticket holders get an update from the team regarding the 50% capacity reduction.

When the province of Manitoba announced their new health restrictions on Friday which included a decrease to 50% capacity for Jets games the local NHL club had to come up with a plan for their season ticket holders.

From the Jets:

Late Friday we had shared with you the news that Manitoba Health’s most recent public health order, which came into effect today, mandates a reduction in capacity at Canada Life Centre to 50 percent for all events effective Tuesday, Dec. 21 through Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022. Thank you for your patience over the last several days as our teams have worked to reconfigure Canada Life Centre’s overall seating arrangement to meet this provincial requirement.

As such we are required to modify the seating arrangements for the following four Winnipeg Jets regular season home games:

Monday, Dec. 27, 2021 vs. Minnesota – 8 p.m.

Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2021 vs. Chicago – 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022 vs. Seattle – 6 p.m.

Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 vs. Minnesota – 7 p.m.

To retain existing seat locations and distribute the games evenly for our Season Seat Holders, we have divided the four games into two packages of two games each. Each Full Season Seat holder has been randomly assigned a package with their existing seat(s) for two of the four games.

So that’s what they’ll do for the next four games and then go from there.
